Confirmed Upcoming Phones in India
OPPO Find X10 series (confirmed)
OPPO officially confirmed at MediaTek Tech Day in Delhi that the Find X10 series is coming to India “in the coming months”, according to 91mobiles. The Find X10 Pro Max will be among the first phones with the new Dimensity 9600 Pro chip. That said, the date and price are not official. Tipster Yogesh Brar suggests a 28 October launch and a price range of ₹90,000 to ₹1.5 lakh (Business Today). For context, the Find X9 launched in India at ₹74,999 and the X9 Pro at ₹1,09,999.
Apple iPhone Duo (dated)
Apple’s first foldable is already official. Pre-orders open on 16 October at 5:30 PM IST, and sales start on 23 October, with prices from ₹2,99,900 for 256GB. Our iPhone 18 Pro and Duo price report lists every variant.
Vivo V80, X Fold 6 and S2 FE (launched, sales pending)
Vivo launched these three phones on 6 October. The V80 (from ₹62,999) and X Fold 6 (₹2,19,999) go on sale on 13 October, and the S2 FE (from ₹38,999) on 20 October. See our Vivo V80 and X Fold 6 launch report for full specs.
Motorola Signature 27
Motorola confirmed at India Mobile Congress 2026 that the Signature 27 is coming to India “very soon”. It runs the new 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto and a ceramic and aluminium design. No date or price yet.
iQOO 16
iQOO CEO Nipun Marya confirmed at IMC 2026 that the iQOO 16 will launch in India “soon”. Digit expects it in December or early 2027 at under ₹1 lakh, so it is unlikely to arrive in November. Expected specs: Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 6.85-inch 2K 165Hz display, an 8,400mAh battery with 100W charging and three 50MP rear cameras. One tipster has claimed the India launch could be scrapped because of high memory costs, so the timing is uncertain.
Tipped Upcoming Phones in India
Vivo X500 series (tipped)
The Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max are reportedly headed to India in late October or early November, according to 91mobiles. They are expected to be among the first phones with the Dimensity 9600. Vivo has not confirmed the India date, though.
OnePlus 16 (tipped, may skip India)
The OnePlus 16 is tipped to launch in China on 12 October (Beebom). However, several tipsters say it is unlikely to come to India, and that OnePlus may bring a OnePlus 16R here instead (91mobiles, Smartprix). OnePlus itself has said nothing about India so far.
Xiaomi 18 series and others (tipped or rumoured)
The Xiaomi 18 series is tipped for an India launch around December (91mobiles). Meanwhile, the Motorola Edge 70 Neo is only rumoured, with no date. Also, OPPO launched the F35 and F35 Pro in India on 5 October; leaked prices put them between ₹30,000 and ₹40,000, but check official listings before relying on those figures.
Will Upcoming Phones in India Cost More?
Probably, yes. 91mobiles says new flagships will likely cost more than the models they replace because of memory chip costs. We have already seen this with the Galaxy S26 FE, which launched ₹20,000 above the S25 FE, and with Apple’s new Pro iPhones. Our explainer on why phones got costlier in 2026 has the full picture.
How to Read Launch Rumours
Launch news moves fast, and much of it comes from tipsters rather than brands. Here is a simple way to judge what you read. First, a brand’s own teaser or press release is confirmation. Second, a report quoting a known tipster is useful but can be wrong, especially on prices. Finally, a “leaked” price with no source should be treated as a guess.
In this list, only the OPPO Find X10 India launch and the iPhone Duo and Vivo sale dates are official. Everything else, including the 28 October date for OPPO and the Vivo X500 timing, could change. So if you are waiting for one of these upcoming phones in India, set a deadline. If it has not launched by then, buy what is available.

Upcoming Phones in India: Buy Now or Wait?
- Spending ₹80,000 or more on Android: waiting 2–4 weeks for Find X10 and X500 prices is reasonable.
- Spending less: buy during the festive sales, because new launches are expected to be pricier.
- Want a foldable: compare the Vivo X Fold 6 (₹2,19,999) with the iPhone Duo (₹2,99,900) before you pre-order.
- Waiting for OnePlus 16: do not count on it coming to India.
Overall, festive discounts on current flagships may still beat the launch prices of the upcoming phones in India. For budget picks, see our best phone under ₹30,000 guide.
