Every product on ChoicePilot is judged against the same question: is this the best use of your money at this price in India? Here is our process.
1. Research
We study specifications, Indian pricing, warranty and service network, and what real owners are saying, before forming any opinion.
2. Hands-on use where possible
When we have used a product ourselves, we test it the way you would in daily life: battery life on a real day, cameras in Indian lighting, appliances with Indian cooking and power conditions. Articles clearly state whether they are based on hands-on use or on research.
3. Comparison with rivals
No product is good or bad in isolation. We always compare it with the best alternatives at a similar price.
4. Scoring
We rate products out of 10 across the factors that matter for that category (for example: performance, build, battery, camera, value for money). The final score reflects the whole package, not just specs.
- 9–10: Outstanding, easy recommendation
- 7–8.9: Very good, with a few trade-offs
- 5–6.9: Average, buy only if it fits a specific need
- Below 5: Skip it
5. Updates
Prices and products change fast. We revisit our buying guides regularly and update recommendations when better options arrive.
Independence
Brands do not see or approve our reviews before publishing, and affiliate commissions never affect scores or rankings.
